Magic Kiss

Grace always reads a book with me before she gives Daddy a hug and kiss and goes to bed. Tonight we read Noah's Ark and Little Bear and then she climbed over to Daddy to give him a kiss. She told him she gave him a Magic Kiss, which in her Princess Smartypants book the princess gives her prince a Magic Kiss and turns him into a gigantic warty toad. I asked her what kind of Magic Kiss she gave Daddy and all I got in response was an impish smile!

Pretty Red Piggies

Last night I painted Grace's toenails bright red for a little bit of fun before I had to leave for bible study. She was quite pleased with the results!

I think I'm addicted to Photoshop

I had David install Photoshop on the laptop again after giving Gimp a try and I can honestly say I had Photoshop withdrawals! It's so nice to be back to familiar territory and with new tricks up my sleeve it's even more addicting. I spent an hour tonight playing with Photoshop Actions to alter some of my photos for fun.

Check out the differences in these photos...

Can you see why I'm having so much fun with it? There's so much I can do to make my photos come alive!

Grace's belly button is hungry!

Last night we had friends over for a barbecue and we ate later then usual. Grace was a whirlwind of activity delighting our guests with her antics when all of a sudden she stopped and lifted her dress to look at her belly button.

"My belly button is making noises Mommy"

"Is your tummy hungry?"

"No, my belly button is hungry"

Welcome to our crazy life!

Welcome to my foray into the world of blogging, I hope to use this site to post pictures and capture the hysterical and sweet moments of our children's childhood. Since my post-children brain has zero memory storage left I hope to use this medium to remember these special years. Plus I figure you all will love to hear what Grace and Ethan are up to, and maybe even what David and I are doing every now and again!
