We had several middle school aged girls attend our Baseball and Barbecue event this year but no boys between the ages of 10 and 27. Poor things, they had nobody but little kids and boring adults to work their charms on. I'm pretty sure their parents think that's a good thing! We've known the Caldwell girls for several years now and Patience attends the same junior high I did. Hard to believe she'll be attending the same high school I did next year! And just like most 13 year old girls she brought a friend with her. It was pretty amusing to see Josh looking oh so tough escorting four girls to the party. They're a great bunch of girls though and we're always happy to see them!
Our neighbor Natalie is the same age as Patience but probably has a foot of height on her. We got to meet 3/4 of her dance team last Friday night when we had dinner together and watched a movie outside. Nothing like watching a bunch of giggly girls and remembering when I was that age. Was it really that long ago?
